The Strangles is a large beach, over 2.5km long, that lies on the North Cornwall coast between Crackington Haven and Boscastle. More effort is required to reach The Strangles than possibly any other beach in Cornwall. After a good walk to reach it, a slippery descent of more than 200m is the only access; perhaps this is what makes the beach popular with naturists. The descent, and later re-ascent, has not deterred this family, whom I captured from high above as they walked across the beach.
