You can't take pictures unless you are out and about, have your camera with you, and are constantly and carefully observing what is going on around you. These things are obvious, and whilst much of what you take in this mode might fall into a category that some consider to be just 'snaps', sometimes you will catch something more. This 'snap' perhaps crosses that invisible boundary. We were walking the section of the South West Coast Path that passes through the holiday resort of Newquay, and had stopped to eat a sandwich in Newquay Harbour. I had been watching these two collared doves courting, and then mating, before I snapped this just after they had finished, struck by their almost identical poses.
